UPDATE: Organizers Estimate More Than 2,100 At Key West “No Kings” Protest Along Truman Avenue
Anti-Trump demonstration part of 3,000 protests planned nationwide, with record turnouts across the country.

KEY WEST, Fla. — Community organizers said more than 2,100 people participated in a peaceful “No Kings” protest along Truman Avenue near Bayview Park on Saturday morning, using standard crowd-estimation methods commonly employed by major event promoters and the United States Government.
The techniques include aerial imaging, mapping the physical footprint of the crowd and applying density calculations — typically estimating the number of people per square foot — to produce an overall attendance figure.
The demonstration was part of a coordinated wave of roughly 3,000 protests held nationwide opposing President Donald Trump.
Participants lined the Bayview Park corridor, holding signs and waving to passing vehicles as traffic moved through the area.
The Key West Police Department maintained a visible presence throughout the event, with officers stationed along the roadway and others on foot walking through the crowd.
Participants remained on sidewalks and public spaces along Truman Avenue, and no immediate reports of arrests or disruptions were released.
Officials did not provide an independent crowd estimate.
The turnout represents a significant level of civic participation in Key West, where national political issues have increasingly drawn local engagement.
