Truman Waterfront Garage Sale Returns With Food, Vendors
“Junk in the Trunk” expands after strong debut turnout.
KEY WEST, Fla. — A growing community garage sale at Truman Waterfront Park will return twice in April following a debut event that drew more than 30 sellers, organizers said.
The “Truman Waterfront Community Garage Sale: Junk in the Trunk” is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, and Saturday, April 18, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the waterfront park.
The event features a mix of household goods, vintage items, collectibles and secondhand finds, with participants selling directly from their vehicles in a casual, open-air setting.
Organizers said the April events will include Over the Top Food Truck serving breakfast and lunch, along with coffee and a hot dog cart.
Keep Key West Beautiful will return as the featured nonprofit, providing reusable shopping bags and promoting waste reduction through reuse of goods.
Sellers can arrive the morning of the event or register in advance, while shoppers are encouraged to browse, meet vendors and take advantage of free parking with a residential sticker.
Organizers plan to continue the garage sale on the first and third Saturdays of each month, depending on participation.
