Silver Airways Screws Passengers — and Employees
In addition to leaving hundreds of travelers stranded throughout Florida, the Bahamas and Caribbean when it shuttered early Thursday morning, employees are only getting 45% of their last check.

It came as no surprise when Silver Airways announced in the early morning hours of June 12, 2025 that it was suspending business.
However, now, in addition to leaving hundreds of paying passengers without flight arrangements through out the pitifully performing company’s flight network, employees are saying their final paychecks aren’t adding up and that the company is only offering to compensate them to 45% of their amount they are owed.

Somebody — like say, Silver CEO Steve Rossum — should be held accountable and sent to jail over this egregious betrayal of station agents, general managers and flight crews.
Rossum is notoriously one of the most incompetent airline executives in the world. And now he left the employees holding the bag.
