Orlando community members flocked to the intersection of Esther and South Orange Ave. on Thursday to fill a void left by Florida’s Department of Transportation.

Hundreds of people showed up — colorful street chalk in hand — to fix FDOT’s “mistake.”

In response, FDOT district 4 secretary told the City that they would have to remove 18 other street murals throughout Orlando “to increase pedestrian visibility.”
