Now FDOT is Going After Storm Drains
So much for the laissez-faire approach.

After Wednesday night’s debacle when the Conch Connection killed any chance of the city taking an adversarial roll to preserve Key West’s iconic Pride (rainbow) crosswalks, it seems that Commissioners Haskell and Kaufman’s worst dreams are coming to fruition in The City Beautiful.
As of Thursday morning, Florida Department of Transportation work crews began painting over storm drains and other pieces of street art in Orlando.
So much for Commissioner Castillo’s “we own our city, why can’t we do something permenant that would be more classy that the state can’t touch” argument.
If you aren’t outraged, you are not paying attention.
Be sure to let your elected representatives know what you think.
