KEY WEST, Fla. — More than 1,000 people gathered along Truman Avenue near Bayview Park on Saturday morning for a “No Kings” protest opposing President Donald Trump, part of a coordinated wave of roughly 3,000 demonstrations scheduled nationwide.
The crowd lined the Bayview Park corridor, holding signs and waving to passing vehicles as traffic moved through the area.
The demonstration was part of a broader national effort organized under the “No Kings” banner, aimed at mobilizing opposition to Trump and his “MAGA”political movement and policies.
The Key West Police Department maintained a visible presence throughout the event, with officers stationed along the roadway and others on foot walking through the crowd.
