Starting at $50 an hour with body armor, guns and ammo, you would think that off-duty law enforcement officers — who are dual deputized and can arrest you just like if they were on duty — would take their job seriously.
But as this video shows, the only LEO willing to respond was a KWPD motorcycle officer. With his help, the throng of bystanders pushed the vehicles off of the victim(s).

But after it made the rounds on social media?
Meh.
The event happened Friday night at the conclusion of the “Local’s Parade,” at the intersection of Duval and Angela.
The City of Key West says they won’t have access to records of the incident until Monday morning.
As of 7 p.m. Conch time, no arrests or charges have been posted on the Monroe County Sherrif’s website.
The Monroe County State Attorney’s office said they had no information.
