Key West Artisan Market To Host ‘One Human Family’ Edition Sunday
Community market highlights Business Guild, local vendors and inclusive island motto.
KEY WEST, Fla. — The Key West Artisan Market will host its “One Human Family” edition from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at Indigenous Park at Higgs Beach, featuring the Key West Business Guild and a range of local vendors, organizers said.
The open-air market will include Florida Keys artists, craftspeople and food vendors offering items such as handmade jewelry, original artwork, apparel, produce, seafood and prepared foods. A full-service bar and specialty beverages will also be available.
The event will spotlight the Key West Business Guild, one of the nation’s oldest LGBTQ+ business organizations, which promotes the island as an inclusive destination while supporting local businesses and community initiatives.
The market’s theme reflects Key West’s official “One Human Family” motto, adopted in 2000, emphasizing equality and inclusiveness. Local artist JT Thompson, who created the phrase, may attend to share its history and distribute related materials, organizers said.
Keys Yacht Rock Station 93.7 is scheduled to broadcast live from the event. Attendees can also meet local authors, view live art demonstrations and visit the Key West Wildlife Center on site.
Admission and parking are free. Organizers encourage guests to bring reusable shopping bags.
The market continues select Sundays through the season, with the next event scheduled for April 5 featuring a community Easter egg hunt and the Key West Canine Relief Fund. For vendor information, email Sean@dailyplan-it.net or apply online.
