Key West Artisan Market Returns Sunday at Higgs Beach
Event to support Tropic Cinema and local vendors.
The Key West Artisan Market will return Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clarence H. Higgs Memorial Beach, with this week’s event supporting Tropic Cinema, organizers said.
The market will take place in the parking lot of Sonny McCoy Indigenous Park at 1801 White St. and will feature Florida Keys–based artists, crafters, authors, makers and food vendors offering original artwork, handcrafted jewelry, home décor, specialty foods, fresh produce, baked goods and other locally made goods.
The weekly outdoor market will run the same day as a craft fair at Truman Waterfront Park, and organizers are encouraging residents and visitors to attend both events as part of a full day of shopping and entertainment across the island.
Tropic Cinema, Key West’s nonprofit independent movie theater, is the featured community partner for the event. Representatives will be on site to share information about upcoming films, membership opportunities and ways to support the theater’s arts and education programming.
The market will also include live music, a radio remote broadcast, food trucks and a full-service bar. Admission and parking are free, and the pet-friendly event is within walking distance of Higgs Beach Dog Park, the White Street Pier and the West Martello Tower botanical gardens.
The Key West Artisan Market is held regularly during the season and provides a platform for local small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
