Floating Tiki Huts Off Key West Named Among Coolest Airbnbs in the U.S.
Offshore tiki suites earn national nod as Florida’s only entry on travel blog’s list.

Two floating tiki huts anchored offshore from Key West have been named among the “41 Coolest Airbnbs in the U.S.” by travel blog Live Like It’s the Weekend, landing the only Florida spot on the national list, according to a report first published by the New York Post.
The one-bedroom, thatched-roof structures — each measuring roughly 15 feet by 18 feet — sit about a mile out in the Gulf of Mexico, west of Fleming Key and north of Wisteria Island. Anchored roughly a half-mile apart, the huts can be booked separately on Airbnb and VRBO, with nightly rates generally ranging from $500 to $600, depending on season and availability.
“This is a one-of-a-kind glamping adventure that blends the best of boating with the comfort and spaciousness of home,” the outlet wrote.
Designed to deliver an immersive ocean experience typically reserved for boaters, the floating huts offer sweeping water views and near-total seclusion. Despite their remote setting, the units feature hotel-style amenities, including air conditioning and Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for a yacht or crew while remaining fully offshore.
The original tiki hut was constructed in 2019 by Florida resident Ryan Stone, with the concept expanding into a pair of standalone floating suites that have since become a bucket-list stay for visitors seeking something beyond traditional island lodging.

Sorry, Ted it's apparently a bad link. Do you have a website for these units? Very curious.
