Building Contractors and Stakeholders Meeting Set

New Software, Green Building and other projects to be disused.

The Key West Building Department has scheduled a stakeholder meeting to discuss various ideas and programs in an attempt to re-build trust after the Bubba Bozo Trio scandal which involved arrests and charges against disgraced (and likely to be disbarred) City Attorney Ron, his brother, former Chief Building Officer Raj Ramsingh and former Code Enforcement Chief Jim Young. / Ted Lund

The City of Key West Building Department is convening a Contractors/Stakeholders Quarterly Meeting on Wednesday July 2nd from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 1300 White Street. Topics for discussion include new software program updates, the Green Building Program, reunification of HARC and building permit applications, the permit review process, and expired permits in the wake of the Bubba Bozo Trio busts.

The City has yet to release who on staff or on the commison will attend and participate or if it will be televised.
