Witnesses say the driver accelerated over victims at Duval and Angela after police warnings to slow down; crowd members rushed the vehicle as ambulance crews arrived within minutes.
Are the victims ok? Do we know who they are now? Or the name of the driver?
No update yet. City said won’t have info until tomorrow and will update then. Oddly, I don’t see anybody on keysso from about that time frame.
The police actually responded surprisingly fast. I was there and within minutes had multiple units present.
What the video shows, which I chose not to publish, is MCSO deputies and FWC off duty kind of like walking around doing nothing.
The KWPD motorcycle officer, in the video, is the only one doing anything.
That being said, KWPD was there with in minutes.
I just wonder why officers off duty making $60-80 an hour were so slow to respond.
I was reluctant in releasing that video.
Not so much anymore.
The cops were slow to respond. Unlike when they partner with ice to terrorize our neighbors.
