Monroe County’s top law enforcement official says his agency has not been contacted by state or federal authorities and cannot verify claims of drone activity near Guantanamo Bay, urging calm.

A statement from Monroe County Sheriff Rick Ramsay:

The statement stemmed from early reporting by Axios reporter Marc Caputo on US intelligence related to Cuba obtaining drowns to possibly target Guantanamo Bay, US military assets or possibly even Key West.
