BREAKING: Military Denies Trump Visit to Key West After Air Force One Aircraft Sparks Speculation
Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS) officials on Monday denied widespread local speculation that President Donald Trump made a secret visit to Key West over the weekend, after one of the two planes designated to serve as Air Force One landed at Naval Air Station Key West.
The aircraft’s arrival fueled rapid rumors across the island, with some locals suggesting Trump may have visited JIATFS in preparation for possible U.S. military action in Venezuela. But military officials unequivocally rejected the claims.
“President Trump was not in Key West or at Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS) over the weekend. The plane was one of the two planes that serves as Air Force One, however, the President was not on board the one that landed in Key West,” said Antonia Varner, Public Affairs Officer for JIATFS.
In reality, Trump spent the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, where he was seen playing golf, according to multiple reports.
Officials did not release details about the purpose of the aircraft’s stop in Key West or who, if anyone, was on board.
An earlier version of this story incorrectly attributed the presidents current status. Above the Fold regrets the incorrect reference.

So now the question remains, who was on the plane and what were they here for?
