Allegiant Adds Columbus Route, Expands Key West Flight Network
Low-cost carrier launches nonstop service from Columbus to Key West next spring, adding to seven existing Allegiant routes that already link the island to major Midwest and Southeast cities.

Allegiant Air will launch new nonstop service between Key West and Columbus, Ohio, next spring, further expanding the airline’s network in the Midwest and boosting low-fare options for travelers headed to the Florida Keys.
The new flights between Key West (EYW) and Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK) in Columbus begin May 21, 2026, with introductory fares starting at $59, the carrier announced Tuesday.
The route is part of Allegiant’s rollout of 30 new nonstop routes nationwide, a major expansion aimed at connecting small and mid-sized cities to high-demand leisure destinations.
Key West network grows to eight Allegiant destinations
Allegiant’s entry into the Columbus market adds to an already diverse slate of nonstop routes that feed visitors to Key West from the Midwest, Great Lakes and Southeast—consistent strongholds for the island’s tourism economy.
The airline already serves Key West from:
Asheville, N.C. (AVL)
Cincinnati, Ohio (CVG)
Indianapolis, Ind. (IND)
Knoxville, Tenn. (TYS)
Pittsburgh, Pa. (PIT)
Orlando/Sanford, Fla. (SFB)
Tampa/St. Pete, Fla. (PIE)
Columbus (LCK) becomes Allegiant’s eighth nonstop Key West destination beginning in May 2026.
Allegiant: Demand for Key West remains strong
“We’re thrilled to continue Allegiant’s growth by adding these new routes,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer. “Our mission has always been to connect travelers to world-class destinations at an affordable price.”
The airline has continued to expand its presence in leisure-driven markets like Key West, where airfare competition and seasonal demand have surged in recent years.

Tickets for the Columbus–Key West service are available at Allegiant.com. Promotional fares must be purchased by Nov. 19, 2025, and travel must occur by Aug. 18, 2026, the company said.
